Jade and Frankie met in 2011 at a local salon where they both worked for over a decade. In that time, we came to find certain things were really important to us: continuing education, sharing our experiences and skills with newer stylists to elevate our industry; the ability to pamper our guests in a warm, inviting atmosphere; and doing all of this while cultivating a work environment that allows us to strike a balance between work and home.
In 2022, we opened The Collaborative Salon in Rochester, MN. This is a place where you will feel loved on, relaxed and listened to. We are dedicated to providing luxury hair color & extensions, without being stuffy. Let's call it laid back luxe. Why we are different.
We strive to be a premiere destination for hair extensions and color - not only in Minnesota, but in the Midwest.
We specialize in luxury color and an extension method called hand-tied beaded rows. These extensions are unique because they do not use any tape, glue or heat to apply the hair; meaning that they are far less damaging than other extension methods out there. Our stylists are also highly skilled in color services from highlights to babylights to balayage, and everything in between.
